Designed for weddings, special events, and sympathy. Every arrangement has a name and a price, so you know exactly what you are getting before you ask.
Most florists quote everything from scratch, which means waiting days for a number and hoping it matches what you pictured. Perfect Petal works from signature collections instead. Each one is designed once, photographed as it really looks, and offered in three sizes at three prices. You choose the design, you choose the size, and you know the cost before you send a single message.
Every stem is sourced for your order specifically, which means nothing here is off the shelf and nothing is same day. That is the trade. You wait a little longer, and you get flowers chosen for you rather than whatever was left in a cooler.
Every signature collection is named in honor of an influential woman in my life. Each one carries a personality and a story, translated through flower, color and shape. It is my way of celebrating the women who inspired me while making something beautiful for the moments that matter most.
Every collection comes in three sizes at the same three prices, and any palette can carry across a whole event, from the bridal bouquet to the last table.
Garden roses layered with white hydrangea, pink snapdragon and trailing silver dollar eucalyptus. Romantic, abundant, and full of movement. The one most people point at.
Cream roses and lilies with deep green foliage and a low, wide shape. Quiet and classic. Designed for sympathy, for a table that should not be crowded, and for anyone who prefers restraint.
Bright, generous and unmistakably New Mexico. Yellow gerbera daisies and fuchsia roses with billy buttons and ruscus, redesigned through the year around whatever is growing best.
Three of the collections are shown here. The full library lives on the collections page, and it grows through the season.
If you are not sure what is appropriate to send, ask me. I will tell you plainly what is usually sent by a friend, by extended family, and by the immediate family, and you can decide from there.
I keep a rental collection of glass and footed vessels. They are collected after your event, which keeps your cost down. Sizes vary, so rentals are priced individually in your proposal. Tell me early and I will hold them for your date.
I design around candles beautifully, but I do not supply them. Your venue, your planner or your rental company will have them, and I will tell you exactly what sizes will work with your design.
Flowers are ordered from the market for your order specifically. Weddings and events book __ months ahead. Everything else needs at least __ days. There is no same day or next day service.
Availability shifts week to week. I may substitute a stem of equal or greater value to hold your palette and your design. That is written into every order, and it is how you get a beautiful arrangement rather than an apology.
As a little girl I would hide among the pink rose bushes and call them my home, gathering petals to make little petal salads. What began as childhood wonder never really left. The color, the texture, the movement, the way a single stem can be so completely and effortlessly beautiful.
I was born and raised in Belen, New Mexico, and I have always been someone who notices details. Flowers let me put all of that in one place and turn what you are picturing into something you can see, feel and remember.
I believe flowers should be designed around your vision and your price point. My job is to listen to what you imagine, understand what matters most to you, and design to that. I also want this to be one of the easiest parts of planning, so that from our first conversation to the last flower placed, you feel heard and looked after.
Perfect Petal is really the grown-up version of that little girl sitting among the pink roses, still completely in awe of what nature makes, and grateful to get to share some of it with you.
Work with meBeautiful designs begin with beautiful flowers. Wherever I can, I source from local flower farms and growers here in New Mexico, which supports our community and puts the freshest possible stems in your hands. Every stem is chosen for freshness, quality and beauty, then conditioned properly before it goes anywhere near your table.
It is also why there is no same day service. Good flowers take a few days to source and settle, and that wait is most of the reason they last.
It will look like that design, in that palette, at that size. Flowers are a living crop and availability shifts week to week, so I may substitute a stem of equal or greater value to hold the look. That is written into every order, and it is how you get a beautiful arrangement instead of an apology.
Weddings and larger events should be booked __ months out. Everything else needs at least __ days. I order your flowers from the market specifically for you rather than keeping stock on hand, so I cannot do same day or next day. If your date is tight, ask me anyway and I will tell you honestly whether I can do it well.
Yes, and it should. Pick one collection and I will carry that palette through the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids, the boutonnieres, the cake florals and the tables. That is the whole point of designing in collections.
Not on a collection, because the design stops working below a certain number of stems. Tell me your budget anyway and I will tell you honestly what I can design at that number, rather than handing you a thinned out version of something else.
Yes, and it is some of the work I care most about. Tell me the funeral home and the service time and I will handle the rest, including confirming the delivery window with them. If you are not sure what is appropriate to send, just ask me and I will tell you what is usually sent by a friend, by family, and by the immediate family. The only thing I need is a few days, so reach out as soon as the service date is set.
We start with a conversation about your date, your venue, your colors, and your budget. You get a written proposal with every piece itemized within 48 hours. Half down books your date, the balance and your final selections are due 30 days before, and then I take it from there.
Tell me the number first and we design to it. There is almost always a way to get the look you are after by putting the flowers where they will be seen and photographed most, and being simpler everywhere else. What I will not do is stretch a budget so thin that nothing looks the way it should.
For single arrangements, yes, the vessel is included in the price. For events I keep a rental collection of glass and footed vessels, which brings your cost down because they come back to me afterward. Sizes vary, so rentals are priced in your proposal. Candles are not provided.
No, and here is why. Your deposit is what buys your flowers, and once your date is held I am turning away other work for it. It applies in full to your total, so nothing is lost, it is simply spent early on your behalf.
Yes, across the Rio Grande Valley and the East Mountains. Fees are in the table above, and anything further gets quoted before you commit to it.
Send me your date, your occasion and your budget range. I answer every message the same day, and I will come back with what is possible, honestly, in one reply.
